I feel very chauvinistic this evening, even for an Aussie! I'm blaming it on the full moon...

When you consider that the moon can affect our oceans tides~ and our bodies are something like 70 % water its not hard to work out that the moons pull would affect our bodies too!
I'm a Wiccan and nothing moves me more than the nights when the moon is in full glory!
BUT~ Hey are you saying i'm a chauvanist?
Hmmmmmm..........

If I went on a tirade about chauvinists chock full of expletives, can I blame it on the full moon:) I think I could but that wily Yamster would get me. A pox upon the Yamster and chauvinists! That's pretty tame ol' (((Jack B)))...... you're lucky......

In the yoga traditions it is best not to practice on a full moon as your energies are more likely to be scattered which is not great for practice. On a new moon you're likely to feel heavy and sluggish and the moon starts it's new phase. This is generally found in the Ashtanga tradition of which I am a practitioner.

Well, the human body is approximately 65% water and the moon does pull on tides so who knows, maybe it does have an effect. Got some full-moon fever tonight. So long as you don't start howling and singing Werewolves of London I'd say you're doing all right ;-)

Hehe. I tink the full moon has little to do with it. I think you're just a chauvinist. But we love you anyway, Jack, how can we not?

It is all about the water, as the moon becomes full, the water in your body is attracted by it's cosmic pull.
and it travels into the brain, causing an aqua reflex to the nervous system.

I think the moon does affect our moods much like the waves in the oceans. Very subtly.

I could expose you to a full moon and I reckon that it will definitely affect your mood. :)
