....when a guy calls a girl a stud, what does he really mean? Last night I went up and talked to this guy that I really like, and he was like "Hey stud, how's it going?" I thought it was kinda wierd, but then I wasn't sure if he was flirting or not.

I would say that he was probably nervous and didn't know what to say. He tried to think of something and all that could come out was "stud". He is also probably kicking himself today for not being able to be himself when you approached him and hoped you forgot by now.

Hmmm...I always thought stud was a guy term, one girls used on guys...
Maybe he's just using a bizarre way of saying good-looking, maybe he's confused or a little lost, but it certainly seems like an odd way of flirting to me....

Where i'm from, stud is a lesbian who looks like a boy. Unless the term "stud" is used differently where your from.

He probably wanted to say something else, but he said stud instead. If not, he probably meant you were standing out from the rest.

I think he's trying to sound casual around you, so he said the first thing that came (or didn't come) to mind. You know what I mean? Maybe he feels nervous around you so he wasn't sure what to call you...I would guess though that its a guys way of "cutie"

It means that u are good looking..It is usually used as for a girl telling a guy so yea thats a little different/weird..But its a good thing dont worry

Normally they use such xpression to raise your curiosity and then keep on flirting with you.
If you really likes him, let it go on the good faith.

maybe he got the wrong words..or he was saying something else..
but if he was trying to say ur pretty etc.
