no you have up days and down days and being a firefighter you need to have your head in the right place at all times or you may kill someone

The standard would probably the same as if you were eligible for military duty.

I would assume that if you had the condition under control (i.e. medication), you would be able to be a firefighter.

I would think on the manic days, that would be a good thing. But not so good on the depressive days. Maybe you can work part-time?

wow, that would definately complicate things.. I would tend to say no.. but you never know.. I would say if someone was diagnosed after being on the job it would be hard to fire them.. and if they do good.. them more power to them.. Good luck with your process..
