i would love to date a steezy hot freeride type guy, my biggest problem is that i don't drink and it seems like thats a major social event for them, im 16 and i dont want to get kicked off my team. what can i do or say to impress them, i dont spend a whole lot of time in the park but i mean like what should i say if i ride up the lift with one of them? do they like a certain type of girl?

This is just funny on so many levels....I don't know where to begin.

First off... Drinking WAS a pre-requisite for my HS ski team. As long as we weren't blitzed when we got to the starting gate our coach didn't care. If you DQ'd you pretty much went straight to the condo or someone's party pad and started getting loaded. If we had to take a bus back home you could guarantee someone had a bottle of vodka stashed on the bus.

Secondly...Actions speak louder than words. You'll have to get noticed. If you can't do tricks on the slopes then make sure he notices you in your speed suit. 16 year old guys don't care about much except how hot chics look. Hell...30 year old guys don't care about much except how hot chics look...who am I kidding? When all else fails....show off the goods.

Third...Ditto what everyone else said about your self-esteem. You suffer from what most women do...."Bad Boy Syndrome". You want the Bad Boy but you're a good girl. It's really freakin' common. Thing about Bad Boys is they will just use you for what they want and then throw you away when they find something better or get tired of you. Your best bet is to stick with a guy on your ski team. Someone who doesn't drink or party...because you don't.

I'm done....I can't laugh and type at the same time.

Wow. I don't know what to say.

Your post indicates a serious self-esteem issue.

Plus, you are stereo-typing a whole cadre of skiers by claiming you know what they do.

Basically, this is a groupie mentality on a ski hill.

Try being yourself, and be willing to date just a regular guy who happens to rip.

Well, good luck in your quest.

You shouldnt limit your search to "steezy hot freeride" skiers. There are alot of pimp'n sexy clarinet players out there. haha

freeriders are usually knuckle-draggers. go for the racers. we are usually in amazing shape and do not do the whole party thing as much (but there is Bode Miller). we are actual athletes, not just hobbyists like the freeriders are. they usually like skanks anyhow
