What did they say to talk you out of the Air Force?
I have been in the Air Force for over a year, and it's not all that bad. If this is something that you really want to do, then join, don't let others bring you down b/c of someone else's personal agenda. I'm not gunna lie, it's not easy, but i'm sure you can do it if you put your mind to it.
I think they will accept you again, however you'll have to talk to your recruiter.

ok, so heres the deal. With an MPA you could wade through OTS (officer instruction college) and be commisioned as a 2nd LT. o-a million. As an officer you will gets a commission greater and have greater household projects. To be honest, till you're a pilot, or somewhat somewhat sturdy, you will no longer get lots previous Lt. Colonel. The AF is incredibly sturdy approximately persevering with instruction, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it calls for greater dedication (2 years college for 3 years provider). in case you want to fly, you ought to have a private pilot license first. i be attentive to that's an incredible variety of information to take up, yet that's a brilliant decision. Take some time, and in case you have questions, be chuffed to digital mail me! **EDIT** As a reaction to those that say you could't get a doctorate, that's unfaithful. i'm at the instant a cadet on the USAF Academy, and that they are asserting that if I do properly sufficient, they are going to deliver me to get an MD or PHD. on a similar time because it could't be as uncomplicated to do popping out of OTS, it might nonetheless be conceivable. (my uncle did it) The AF desires docs. So provide it a attempt!

AF probably won't, you failed to ship once already, they will not take the chance that you will bail on them again. same with Navy and Marines. the Army MIGHT take you.. but you face an uphill battle, as you do NOT have a valid reason for not shipping.

Right now, the military is pretty desperate because nobody wants to go to Iraq, and that's where they're sending everybody now (regardless of what they might tell you at the recruitment center). So, yeah, I'm sure they'll take you. But why not listen to your family instead.
