I've read that flaxseed oil helps your skin, but what exactly does it do? Would it help with elasticity? Also, where do you buy it at and how much does it normally cost? Thank you very much for any help.

Flax Seed Oil is a blue flowering plant that is grown on the Western Canadian Prairies for its oil rich seeds. This natural oil (also known as Linseed Oil) is highly recommended for the general well being and whole body nutrition and is considered to be nature's richest source of omega-3 fatty acids that are required for the health of almost all body systems.

Flax Seed Oil contains omega-6 and omega-9 essential fatty acids, B vitamins, potassium, lecithin, magnesium, fiber, protein, and zinc and also provides approximately 50% more omega-3 oils than what you could get from taking fish oil, minus that horrible "fishy" after taste.

You can buy it at any health food store. Buy the refridgerated liquid stuff though, it's absorbed better by your body. It's an acquired taste. One good brand to get is Udo's 3-6-9 oil blend. Cost in general is anywhere from $10-20 depending on the brand & quality (the Udo's is about $20 per bottle)

It also helps all your joints to keep lubricated. I've read it makes your hair stronger & shinier as well so it doesn't get brittle. It may help with cholesterol issues as well, but I'm not entirely sure.
