It is an anxiety attack. Speak with a therapist about it.

Sounds like a panic/ anxiety attack. It is common- a doctor would happily give you some Rx but you should exhaust breathing techniques, yoga, doing things that calm you (either in your physical life and/or your mental life). The proverbial 'happy place' is a tool I think MANY people use to place themselves outside of whatever unpleasant environment they are stuck in.
Fresh air helps too!!
Good luck- i know it is frustrating.

If it's only around people, it's social anxiety. The light headed and feinting feeling are panic attacks, another form of anxiety. If it happens often, work with a therapist. Talk therapy has a fairly high success rate with anxiety disorders.

anxiety, panic ... not necessarily a big problem but if you continue feeling this way, go see your doctor. They can help you feel more comfortable around people and in stressful situations.
