Knowing what u know will be enough. Training should do the trick although I am not sure if 3-4 weeks of that will take care of it.
Good Luck and welcome to the team!

It's a game of show.
Don't let it get to you, take it in stride. If you think 7 1/2 weeks is a long time, remember you may end up doing 60-130 days at sea, and for those like me not seeing the sun on top of it.
It may seem "stressfull" while you are in boot camp, but the real stress is still a long ways off.
Do as you're told, be where you are supposed to be, have a good uniform. These are absolute rules not just for boot camp, but your whole time in the Navy. No matter what your RDC's may try to tell you or how important they may make it seem, the competition for flags means J & S to us (your future LPO's & LCPO's). Learn to basics of discipline, chain of command, HISTORY and such. Learn how to keep your head in those "stressfull" situations and how to take a breather, those are skills you must have or you will not cut it. Keep things in percpective.

DONT BRING ANYTHING!!! just bring your paperwork and whatever pictures or addresses you can fit in your wallet cause everything else including the clothes off your back will be put into a box and sent home at your expense! Also just remember that your RDCs yelling isnt always cause they are pissed off but its so they get heard over 80 people, work as a team, and try to get noticed cause the RDCs (your drill instructors) have the power to promote 10% of your division to the next rank, good luck and see you in the fleet!

Just play the game, don't stand out, learn all you can and remember that if you graduate, you have won the game.

1. don't cry; 2. don't show anger; 3. if you're really pissed off at whoever's yelling at you, just keep your face emotionless and just THINK over and over about horrible deaths of that person.
