My group is going to be making one soon for school. We already know what it's going to look like, but does anyone have ideas on how to make an ice skating rink? :/

But the thing is there's going to be white icing on the roof as snow. And I can't use a mirror because we're selling them and... yeah. It has to be edible.

Maybe you could use some white frosting which has been colored ever so slightly with blue food coloring to give the appearance of ice. And, surround that with some white frosting to simulate a border of snow around the lake.

Try a small mirror or piece of glass. You can pipe white icing around it to cover the edges with "snow".

Sure.

Take some gram crackers, white frosting on it and put them next to each other in rows or by each other. Kitkat bars are passive rails, and gummi bears can be the little iceskaters. Make benches out of small ghram crackers and cut out some twizzlers and 'glue' with frosting. Decorate the icerink with lots of other candies and yummies.

Merry Christmas to you too.

whipped cream, sugar, white chocolate
I guess I would do molten sugar, just melt the sugar and then stretch it...to make it look like glass. Im sure you have seen it on food network challenge thing where they make shapes out of melted sugar.
