We Christians care because Jesus commanded us to go unto the uttermost parts of the earth with the Gospel. We know that when you die you are going to meet God, we know this, and it saddens us when people die not ready for their judgement day. In Hebrews 9:27 the Bibles says that it is appointed to a man once to die but after this the judgement. We will all be judged, Jesus said in John 3:3, except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. This is why we Christians care so much. Jesus wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. If you have any questions or comments just send me an email, God Bless!!

It's a psychological thing. People like it when they meet others who agree and dislike it when they meet others who disagree. There is also an annoyance factor when you hear people saying something that you believe (or know) is wrong and claim it as fact. Others care because they see their belief as helping others and their is a natural tendency to want to help people. If you believe that someone is going to burn in hell fire for an eternity, that is a pretty big motivation to want them to believe like you do so they can get into heaven, even though it may not directly affect you, it affects your sense of empathy.

The author of this Universe isn't particularly the "gawd/god" which you, me, or anybody for that remember needs or hopes him/her to be! i think of you're acceptable on your perception this existence is for enjoying. however the actuality is that's no longer what the actuality of this international is!!! There are over 6 billion souls on the planet today. a million/2 of them will visit mattress hungry this nighttime. a million/3 of them will visit mattress under oppression! a million/3 of them will visit mattress with fake wish for day after today! And in case you do no longer see how the various go through, then you definately are blind my pal, blind!!!

I am neither a Christian or atheist, and I can answer this from my point of view.
Christians are compelled to convert others, because it is in the bible to do so. They may have some sincere concern for the Atheist, but most of it is for other reasons, like self assurance of their own beliefs, as evidence mounts to debunk the mud and rib theory.
I think Atheists have similar motivations, as they are sure that evolution is near fact, but maybe in there minds they see everything doesn't completely fit with the pushing up daisies when we die theory either, so there you have it!
2 groups looking for truth, but claiming to have it already!
Truth can be elusive, but delusion is common!
Good luck, and hope you find your answers!

Christians are fundamentally, inherently wrong. They need to know what other people think and believe so they can dream up fictitious mistruths aimed at people's weaknesses with the hope of sucking them in

as an atheist/agnostic I believe the ask us that because they think there way is the only way & they use it as an excuse to live their lives. "if God this or it was God's way" is there answer to everything in their lives. They can't see or stand that the atheists are actually living their lives w/out limitaions because they don't rely on their belief of anyone other than themselves to get thru life!

There are a lot of things that church folks don't give a holy crap about -- including what atheists disbelieve. Some of them don't even care about the rules of spelling and grammar, but only some of them.

I believe that atheists love to hear preaching from Christians! Otherwise why would they spend all day in a religious forum begging for answers?

Well it wouldn't appear that we cared, if you weren't always posting comments and making such a big deal about your opinion. What does atheism have to do with either religion and spirituality... beats me. It seems to me that if I were an atheist I would post in some other category. OK, does that explain it?

maybe the christians are afraid that if their religion somehow is a fact, everyone going to hell would swell the armies of satan so he could lay siege to heaven......
