I'm an Irish Catholic girl. I'm really normal. How would it be possible for me to meet the Pope? Is there an address that I could write to? I'm not an unusual person, I'm just a normal Catholic girl and I had a baby outside of wedlock but it is my dream to meet the pope. How would that be possible? How do normal people ever get to meet him? Thank you in advance for any advice. I would give anything just to see him and meet him. But what to do?

Why.. He is just a man... a very misguided one at that!... I would suggest trying to meet someone worthwhile -- to me he is.

Well, you've got a lot of advice on how to meet the pope, but as for even getting close to him, good luck, you'll need it. He will most likely be behind that lexan shield in the popemobile, and you have to be a heavy power broker in the cult to get to meet him face to face.

Dear Friend, It would be worth joining an organised pilgrimage which includes what is called a 'Private Audience'. If it is still like the time I did, the Pope will give a short talk and then come down to have a brief word with Groups.
If enquiries are made by you through the Archdiocesan Catholic Office in your Capital City, you might be able to arrange attending the Pope's private Mass.
I hope you get there-"hope" is not there for nothing!
Going by way of a Pilgrimage to Rome is safer and organised. God bless you. Fr. Terence

There is a prescribed way to get an audience (with others normally) with the Pope. The catholic church in every country has religious delegates/representatives in Rome who are in charge to arrange these meetings. Contact your priest for detailed information.

1. Become a high ranking cardinal

2. Go back in time and become head of the Hitler youth program.

3. Be cannonised.

4. Be an irresponsible parent and sensationalise your child's loss.

5. Meet him in court after an assassination attempt (you must be the defendant).

Clear?

Edit - From Wikki - Following his fourteenth birthday in 1941, Ratzinger was enrolled in the Hitler Youth — membership being legally required after December 1939[5] — but was an unenthusiastic member and refused to attend meetings[6]. His father was a bitter enemy of Nazism, believing it conflicted with the Catholic faith. In 1941, one of Ratzinger's cousins, a 14-year-old boy with Down syndrome, was killed by the Nazi regime in its campaign of eugenics. In 1943 while still in seminary, he was drafted at age 16 into the German anti-aircraft corps. Ratzinger then trained in the German infantry, but a subsequent illness precluded him from the usual rigours of military duty. As the Allied front drew closer to his post in 1945, he deserted back to his family's home in Traunstein after his unit had ceased to exist, just as American troops established their headquarters in the Ratzinger household. As a German soldier, he was put in a POW camp but was released a few months later at the end of the War in summer 1945. He reentered the seminary, along with his brother Georg, in November of that year.

You can't meet Mickey Mouse, you can't meet any pope, because there is no pope. He's a figment of your imagination. You will meet Jesus, maybe quite soon, and then you will change your tune pretty smartly.
