I don't think there is a specific way to fall out of love... you just... do.
Falling out of love is something that you can't help, or you can't force. It's something that happens without you actually knowing, and although we all wish there was a way to just stop our feelings towards a specific someone... we cannot.
Even if you try to ignore them, even try to hate them... if you love them, then you'd just be lying to yourself. You can never force something that just isn't right.
"Everything happens for a reason."-- and I truly believe it does, so if whoever you don't want to love isn't the right one for you... then time will tell.

It is possibe to fall out of love. Most of the time it is when you see how some people really are. How they act around other people when you are with them. Conversation becomes less and the smallest things that happen annoy them. There are so many ways how people fall out ot love. I would say more but I would need a book deal? Ha Ha.

You learn how to deal with it. TIME. Helps a lot. Music and tons and tons of red wine helps too. I learned from my mother.
Go onto lime wire and get all the Norah Jones songs possible, light candles and take a bubble bath. Drink wine, cry and get it all out. Then stand up and Tell yourself," This wont be easy, i will get through it. I will be able to love again."
Repeat these words everyday. Also get the serenity prayer. Repeat this too.

godschil..., I did this. She was just too jealous and I was sick and tired of never being trusted. So I just got sick of the no trust thing and that's the straw that broke the camel's back. A relationship is built/based on trust. I don't think you fall out of love!!! Ask yourself what attracted you to that person. That's what I say. Hope this helps!!!

when I got dumped by a man I loved I decided to train for and run the chicago marathon. I listened to heavy metal music while training and not sappy love songs. It was a great way to feel better about myself and keep me occupied when I wasnt at work. I also met some great guys in running clubs!

Infatuation and flirting can be fun. So the the bubble of infatuation bursts and flirting stops. It is not true love which is not based on feelings or emotions.
Infatuation and flirting are based on emotions and feelings
When they change we fall in and out of love.

Physical distance, not talking to or thinking about that person can work also. Basically "white knuckle" it. Try to convince yourself you don't need or want that person. It"s hard and I don't recommend it. Also, there's no telling if your new found affections (or lack there of) will stick. If you see that person everything may come rushing back. Difficult, but sometimes (sadly) necessary.

Distance yourself from that person...it makes it easier to stop thinking about them. Then slowly you'll fall out of love.

I wish I had a potion that could make someone fall out of love...I would be a millionaire! I don't think you can make your heart not want something it wants!

In a concious way yes, you believe that there is nothing left to explore... but in a sub concious sense know because that person will always have a special place in your heart... you did love them once after all......
