I see no problem with that in my community. Most people are liberal where I live, even those whom are theists. I'm married to a christian, of my three very closest friends two are Roman Catholic and one is a LeVeyan Satanist and we never have a problem getting along.

If you can show respect, despite differences, then people have no trouble getting along.

For every action there is an opposite reaction. That is the core philosophy of life. If there ever comes a time that they do get along another group will rise up as the opposition. What we need to learn is that resistance is beneficial for the continuation of life, instead we always seem to take it as a threat.

There's no question of ''getting along'' - true atheists don't care what anybody else thinks nor what they believe or practice religiously. I don't care who believes what, it's their choice what makes them feel right about themselves.
On the other hand, I won't tolerate anybody trying to '''convert''' me to any religion, nor do I have any patience for hearing about other person's religions and beliefs. Many serious believers feel compelled to do this - to try to convert others, and especially if they find out that you are an atheist. I normally don't ever mention it to anybody, there's no need, I just go along living my life.

Just because they don't get along? They are attracting each others attention that's why R&S is filled with this types. They are throwing each other's energy in a healthy cycle of both acceptance and denial.

It does look actual that Christian females have a tendency to be attracted to atheist "undesirable boys," because of the fact I definitely have quite a few Christian females attracted to me ATM, yet no different possibilities.:( on the different hand, i'm no longer remotely attracted to Christians or any non secular women individuals. Their non secular convictions are a great turn-off for me, and what some % to be innocence, I realize as willful lack of information. And therein lies the difficulty, i assume.

I married an Atheist and we got along great. I am not your typical closed minded Christian though. She was fourteen years older than me. We are divorced but parted as friends. We divorced because we moved to Arkansas to take care of my elderly parents and she hated it here and moved away. I couldn't leave my folks as I am an only child and they needed me. People need to be more open minded about such things.
