myself i believe in god, i dont believe jesus was wat u say he was, but i believe in heaven, and i also believe in hell, so as christians u believe jesus died on the cross for all our sins, meaning that watever crime we may commit, we will be forgiven, meaning we go to heaven, so do u believe in hell, and if you do dont u think the devil will be very lonely down there on his own, just a point i would christians to answer.

so wat a couple of u are saying is, if i worship jesus as my god, leave my home after praying kill some innocent child on my t shop, then make my way t local church pray t jesus for forgivness then i will not go to hell, and god states as a commandment given t moses , though shall not worship any other god or idol, as the lord our god is a very jealous god, so as u christians worship jesus as a god, surely u are not following gods word.

playing ive commited many sins as we all hav, all sins carry same punishment, i let god into my heart into my body, my soul and my life, my life has changed dramatically over the past 2 years, so if god himself refuses to forgive my sins from past and wat i may commit in the future, then i am willing t live my eternal life in hell, as this would be my creators choice, and wat god decides for me in life i will accept as i no god is testing my faith to him, if i fail then i deserve t go t hell.

john i agree wat is said by mouth t others means nothing as god nose wat we are thinking. he nose if were truly sorry, and will forgive if we are, so y the point of jesus, surely the father is greater than the son. meaning that ide rather god forgave if he dont then so be it, i take my punishment that i deserve.

clevergie, very good point, im not trying t mock christians, and yes most my beliefs are of a jewish nature, but i dont like t class myself in a religion, i believe in god and god alone, he created life, he created love, religions create hate, and death. i dont dissaprove of any religion each person has a mind and are entitled by the way god made us t make our own choices, as for me and u and the rest of humanity, god will judge as we travel threw the wonders of life, its not for me t judge if one religion is more true than another.

I believe Jesus was Gods son, and that he died to teach us right from wrong, and to teach us how much God loves us, but I still believe in heaven and hell. Though I find that if you actually study the bible you do find a lot more - like hebrew for hell is grave, meaning a bad person will die and just sleep for eternity. The devil has his angels doesn't he, so he won't be lonely. (Remember, war in heaven, half the angels cast down to hell... revelation)
I think you should consider checking out a synagogue, because the point of Christians is to believe in Christ, so if you don't like to read the new testament and you don't believe that Jesus was the son of God then perhaps you could talk to some Jewish people and find out if you agree with what they believe.

Hello.Blessings and Peace

I believe Jesus, 'Yeshua' to be the Teacher of Righteousness', essentially a Gnostic Farther who taught 'the way'. As far as I know, by Yeshua's use of the word 'farther' he speaks of an concept/idea that is highly important and DID not claim to be the manifestation or the third persons of the Christian Trinity. The Father= the source, from we arrived and to where we depart, the monad, the cause etc.

I also believe in the consciousness state of hell and of the heavens.

Your have made a very clear and interesting point. Since Christains teach that Yeshua had 'died' for the sins of the world and that men who 'accept Christ' are to saved from hell fire, they say nothing of individuals who claim to believe in God, hell, heaven and the like, oftenly will say that you are not a Christain untill you believe that he is the Son of God. I find it all very confusing.

Also, is everyone for forgiven of their crimes, then 'hell' would be non-existent and Satan would come to have the same meaning as santa, the toothy fairy and the easter rabbit! But on your question, see if any Christians mentions of bad fruit or a bad harvest; anything with a portion of the crop going wrong.

Kind Regards

I believe in heaven and hell.

Only those who do the will of God/Jesus will be in heaven. Even the Devil believed so much he shook, but his belief will not have him in heaven because his faith was dead, being alone. He did not do the works of faith James speaks about in his book.

Jesus said not everyone that calls Him Lord will enter heaven but only the ones that does the will of God. That is pretty plain to me.

EDIT: As John S said below there are conditions and they are in the Bible.

Example: Suppose a car dealer published he would give a car to everyone that came, signed the papers and drove the car off. If you want to just get the car and drive it away, you would never receive the car. The same is true with salvation.

No. Even though Jesus did die for the sins of all people. There are "conditions" that must be met before His sacrifice can be applied to your sin account. You will not be forgiven for any sin unless you "repent" first. To repent does not mean that you say your are sorry for the crime. This is a very popular misconception among lot people. They think God will forgive them and they will go to heaven anyway. This is not true-God does not forgive people because they have sinned. He only forgives those who stop what they are doing, turn around and follow Him.

The latin definition of "hell" is to be without "God". There is a hell and it is a very lonely place.

Salvation, as defined by Christianity, is a paradox.
It is true that any and all sins are forgiven if you believe in Jesus. The percentage of people on death row who are going to heaven might be greater than the general population (i.e. non criminals) because the convicted generally repent their sins prior to execution.

Jesus said none can come to the Father but by me which means; Jesus is your advocate. It Is because of Jesus' dying for us that we're permitted to ask God for help when we need it. God sees us through forgiving eyes. God said if we seek Him with our whole heart He will be found. Meaning if you're for real with Him, He'll come to your rescue. As far as the Devil being lonely is concerned...with all the athiests in the world, trust me he'll have plenty of company.

u cant beleive half of God and do away with the other!how can u believe in heaven, a place, and not beleive in Jesus the creator of the place?its like believing in existence of yo car but not car maker!the OT was/is about Jesus,i think every chapter u read ther sure is a reference to him!how can u not believ the son but believe the father, it doesnt make sense!as achristian your focus/concern should be Jesus/God and NOT the devil!!!think again!

For your information more than ninety-nine percent of humanity will end up in hell.
The idea of forgiveness is much over-stated. Most of what happens on Judgment Day will be condemnation, not forgiveness.
Why do you think Jesus spent so much time discussing Hell?

As for Jesus dying for sins, he died only for the sins of people who praise him daily and with great fervor and emotion, going without proper nourishment and rest in order to give him the most praise. Jesus is not interested in anybody who gives him the modicum of praise.

Most church folks will end up spending eternity in the company of murderers, perverts and thieves -- in Hell.

All the demons in hell believe in God also and they don't believe what Jesus says about himself either. That tells me the devil won't be alone.

Yes we believe in Hell, and that the Devil won't be alone. Most people will end up in Hell. Jesus' attonement makes it POSSIBLE for everyone to be forgiven, but only those who repent and trust in Him will be forgiven.
