Business administration is a broad business major. It includes subjects like accounting, finance, marketing, management, accounting, etc. So you generally take a little of everything.
Now as far as job opportunities go, there are far too many to list. But it does give you an entry-level opportunity to a wide variety of companies and fields.
For instance, I started in banking, but also worked in retail, hi-tech, financial services, etc. So you can move and grow!

It covers all the core business operations including Marketing, Accounting, Human Resources, Management, Logistics, Management Information Systems, etc.
Usually, you concentrate on one area and take core classes of the others.
There are really too many jobs to list, so I would suggest going to your colleges career services department and they can fill you in with that information.
