The rash is red and is above my elbow. It does NOT itch. I've had it for a couple of years and it just keeps getting worse. There are little red dots that look like pimples and when I try to squeeze them, they just get raised up and scar. It is really gross and I'm tired of people always asking what it is and my response being "I don't know". Should I go to a doctor and have this checked out or is there some kind of over-the-counter product that will take care of this?

Thanks!

i think you have a case of eczema.
my sister used to get it all the time when she was little and its usually caused by an allergic reaction like dust or washing powders.
you will probably need to go to your doctor for an allergy test to see if it is really eczema and what is making this rash appear on your skin.
Rashes like you explained is usually caused by eczema or you might just be scratching a little too much.
But I'd recommend you go see a doctor!
hope this helps :)

You should see your doctor about this. And stops squeezing those things that look like pimples. You don't want to get whatever this is infected. People who ask about this "rash" are rude. Your "I don't know" response is OK. In fact, this "rash" is really nobody else's business; so even if you did know what it is, you don't have to tell anyone.

It's really not funny that the kid said MRSA because my father lost his leg to MRSA and my grandmother died because of it.

If it has been there years then it sounds like acne. Try using face wash on it, and if it doesn't get any better see a dermatologist.
I have bumps all over my upper arms too, they are acne but never come to the top to pop. I use a scrubbing face wash on them once a week and my arms stay smooth for a few days.

Definantly take a trip to the doctor, this way you can get a confirmation on what kind of rash it is and how to make it go away.

See a dermatologist (skin Dr). I've seen one in the past and they are a big help in getting cosmetic issues under control. They have seen it all I assure you.

it is probably exima (i'll figure out how to spell in in a sec) and you should go to the doctor because you cant get anything over the counter to relieve it.
