Any UK Guys married to Thai's?

Are they happy living in the UK with you or do you think they have married you for the Visa/Money etc?

My cousin married a Thai girl. he met her when he was working ih Europe. I,m soz but she lived up to her stereo type. Tried to move her family over here and when that failed she moved back to thialand where he sends her a load of cash while he's back in europe workin his *** off. she aint seen him for over a year still wants the cash and is living it up. She make me angry.

I just want to point out to pegasus that a marriage in Thailand between a US Citizen and a Thai Citizen is valid. Check the American Embassy in Thailand website for information. As for the UK I really don't understand what your doing. If you plan to come here and marry why would you apply for a fiance visa (since your already married). As for agencies doing the paper work for you, I think your going to find that you still need to provide tons and tons of information, photos, emails, receipts showing a real relationship between you and her. Also financial records, all this is going to be done by you not the agent. You need to take a day and get online and read all the rules and procedures you need to follow. Pick a good law firm not some agency on some soi off Sukmitvit. When some agency tell's you no problem getting a visa, that's when you start worrying. Good Luck in whatever you decide to do.

Thai girls have one focus in life - to get a better life for themselves and their families. Always remember that, and you won't go far wrong.

Western women find Thai girls an enormous threat to the status quo, because Thailand offers insanely cheap and readily available sex - approximately 1/20 to 1/40 of the price of Euro/USA hookers. Older guys no longer date Western women of the same age, they just go to Thailand and have a girl "long time" (overnight with as much sex as they can manage) for the price of a round of drinks in a USA bar.

That's the reality, whatever you may think of it. The ferocious replies by Western women on Yahoo Answers (labelling the men as "perverts", "freaks", "degenerates", "sad" etc) underscores my point about how threatened Western women feel.

Oh and by the way, I'm a sad, perverted, degenerate freak. I'm going there. Actually I'm the gentlest, nicest, most faithful guy. But after being brutalised by years of rejection from Western women, I'm going to a place where I will be welcomed with open arms. Strange old world, isn't it?

I think the question is kind of offensive in a way. Even though I am not married with western guy, i did date and english guy.
I dated him out of love and not money. I never even thought of taking an oppurtunity to make good use of his status to get the life i want. I work hard and never even asked him to buy me the things i fancy, Sadly, he just used me to boost his ego. And to be honest, he isn't totally good looking but since i love him, i forgot about the physical matter. He went out with a taiwanese girl who, apparently used him to get a status here. Sadly, he found it out but was too late. I won't accept him back.

So don't label all asian girls particularly the underated asian girls like thai and filipinos.

I worked at Thailand more than a year. I heard a lot of cases. I can't say, all Thai gal also focus on money only. But, "Money No.1" is most of the Thai gal's objective.

they all leave in the end once they have got there visa's keep them where they are enough people just coming into country it's getting over run think i will move abroad shame i would not get a visa claim loads of money easy way out wish i could do it instead i work my butt of running my own company pay my taxes all for what so they can all come live and get dole what a life.

TO BLUEGIRL I am married to a Thai LADY i AM 64 AND SHE IS 63 SO not all of the people go for young Thai brides so think again she is a good wife and has never asked me for money for her familty so do not paint all Thai ladys with the same brush

Hi Bluegirl. I am with Malaysian lady, have been for years. I am 55 she is 51. Stop sneering at older guys younger women. Bet you don't have the same problem with the toyboy phenomenon. Not all men who go out with Asian women are looking for some young chick. Mind you, having said that my lady is still size 8 and looking real good for her age. disgusting. See so many old men parading their young thai or phillipino wives around. Lucky for the wives the husbands are so old they wont outlast them...If they can stick around for a while they stand to get a house and money out of these desperate old fools. Worst part is they have to prostitute themselves to these old men....ick.
