Well I do not belive i have found truth In religion, but in Christ alone. now while some people would classify Christianity as a religion, it is much more than a religion, it is a relationship with our creator and withthe one he sent, jesus Christ. Now ofcourse religions of the world teach that men must do something for God to earn His favor and to gain the gift of everlasting life, The truth of scripture reveals that Gods standard is much higher than ours and that he sees lying as an Abomination and theivery and blasphemy as heinous in his sight, he even sees and Judges our inermost thoughts and he demands perfection. the True God revealed in scripture is Holy and will Judge by His law (ten Comandments and we can know this because he has writtne his law on our heart. we naturally know that its wrong too lie and too steal and too look with lust and use Gods name in vain, we dont need anyone too teach us those things, everyone has a consceince that bears wittness too these truth's. and our conscience is thiere too warn us of the conseuqeunces. the Bible says it is appointed a Man once too die then face the Judgement. so what can Sidharth ( Buddah) do for you? He still lays dead in the grave. How about muhammed? he is till in the grave and never claimed too know that he himself could have everlasting life. nor has the founder(s) of HInduism or any of the other major world religion. but God who is rich in mercy sent his only Son Jesus too suffer and die and be ressurected once again, proving that he himself is the way the truith and the life and he now stands ready too prove that too any man who will confess and forsake theire sin and trust in HIm. anyman who repents and belives upon and trust in jesus, will be forgiven, granted the gift of everlasting life and God will reveal himself. so thats my challenge too you today, examine yourself int he light of Gods law and listen too your conscience, and earnest;y confess and forakse your sin and see for yourself His compassion his mercy and his reality.
God Bless

Religion has been used for power before in history, and it still influences power and the government, but is certainly not originated from government. Religion is a sort of fake government, that was much more popular in previous centuries to abide by. Religion is still used a bit for power/gains but not much anymore. Certain people exploit Christianity on TV for donations, whilst supposedly healing people in the audience as miracle cures. This is just a massive scam that makes religion another problem. An argument I've heard before about religion (Christianity in particular) is that you can't KNOW GOD/JESUS exists, you have to BELIEVE, and if you know he/it exists, you aren't a true Christian. That said, It's just silly to believe (or know) in something that you have no indication that it's possibly there. There has never been any decent proof of god, or supernatural Jesus - Just coincidences, natural phenomenon, tricks/hoaxes, and mental illusion (brain washing/peer pressure). I don't believe in any religion, particularly Christianity for many many reasons. There are probably over 100 reasons, and you could find them quite easily on the Internet (although I thought of most of these partially or completely on my own). #1 there are so many different types of religions.... they all disagree with each other. They can't even get their own religion straight? how can they all be right? -This can also be applied to sub-religions, such as for Christianity: Catholic, Mormon, Jehovah's Witness, Protestant, etc. #2 Religions are the cause of a MASSIVE chunk of the world's wars, probably like 70-85%. While not only religion, at least religion-influenced #3, related to #1 (and 2), some people twist their religion into a justification for fighting/killing people. This is previously and currently very prominent in religions like Islam and Christianity. (both religions are mostly peaceful but scripture can be twisted quite easily. Doesn't even need to be scripture) #4 fallacies, lies, fantastical things, hypocrisy, etc. can all be found in holy scripture. Old testament and new testament of the bible is so conflicting, not to mention they even conflict themselves, and conflict with the religions based off them. People may say it's just the interpretation or translation, but the fact is things can be interpreted many ways, and the most obvious is most likely to be the intended one. I suppose that's enough for now.

Because mine goes only by the Bible, obeying it above the doctrines of men. We avoid worship that is in vain as Jesus said by this. (Matt. 15:9)

We keep studying, testing whether our faith and beliefs are correct. (2Cor. 13:5; 1Timothy 4:16)

All over the world, we all speak in agreement without divisions. (1Cor. 1:10; Psalms 133:1) We all teach and believe the same things.

We act like true Christians are supposed to as found in Colossians 3:12-17 which is unlike any others.

We follow the instructions at James 1:22 where it says to become DOERS of the Word, not hearers only.

We recognize there is not to be a clergy class and how much we are to charge for this Bible teaching. (Matt. 10:8) "You received free, give free."

Most of the world is in darkness and ignorance. (Ephes. 4:18) We can come out from under it by demonstrating the fruitages of the spirit. (Gal. 5:22-23)

Our deeds go along with our beliefs unlike those only claiming to be Christian as Titus 1:16 warned.

These are some of the reasons I know I follow the true religion of God.

These are what I believe, from my own study, the Bible teaches. The religion of which I am a life-long member also teaches these things -- except for one point only. If you don't know all of these Truths, then I encourage you to seek them through the Holy Spirit. If your religion teaches *all* of these things as doctrinal truth, then I'd like to talk to you. ;-)

• The Bible teaches that the One True God of Heaven is from Everlasting to Everlasting, knowing the End from the Beginning, All-Powerful, and Abundant in Love, Grace, Mercy, Forgiveness, Goodness, Justice, and Truth.
• The Bible teaches that there are Three which bear witness in Heaven -- the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost -- and that these Three are One.
• The Bible teaches that our galaxy and this world was Created from Nothing, by the Word of His Mouth, in seven literal days.
• The Bible teaches that none of God's Commandments, Statutes, or Judgments were ever done away with nor ever can be.
• The Bible teaches that the Seventh-day (Saturday) is the Sabbath and that Sunday is merely another work day.
• The Bible teaches that, though created perfect in all his being, Lucifer became a murderer and the father of lies when he became the first sinner -- now called, satan, and that old serpent, the devil.
• The Bible teaches that the wages of sin is death, but that the Gift of God is Eternal Life.
• The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and was sent to earth to be born of a virgin woman as our Messiah to become the Perfect Sacrifice for all mankind whom will believe, accept, and follow Him.
• The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth, and The Life and that no man may come to the Father except through the Son.
• The Bible teaches that we are saved by faith, but that faith without works is a dead faith.
• The Bible teaches that baptism by water immersion is required as an outward sign of our conversion when we are saved -- but that if we can't be so baptized, then Jesus Christ was baptized for us.
• The Bible teaches that, once saved, we must be careful lest we lose our salvation -- thus, the Christian experience must be one of growth in Christ.
• The Bible teaches that the dead remain in their graves and there is no spirit nor soul which goes to Heaven when we die.
• The Bible teaches that there is currently no such place as hell, purgatory, nor limbo.
• The Bible teaches that when the Lake of Fire becomes a reality, at the end of time, that the wicked will not burn forever.
• The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is currently ministering on our behalf, as our High Priest, in the Heavenly Sanctuary -- built without hands.
• The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is coming a Second time to resurrect the righteous dead and to then take all of the righteous back to Heaven with Him, as His Bride, to take part in the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in His Father's House.
• The Bible teaches that the entire world will have to experience the Final Tribulation of three and one-half years before Jesus Christ returns the Second time to receive His Bride.
• The Bible teaches that this Second Coming will destroy all the living unrighteous leaving satan and his angels bound to this earth with no one to tempt.
• The Bible teaches that the righteous will live in Heaven with Him for One Thousand Years as we review the Books of the Judgment to see that God is Just.
• The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ will then return to the earth a Third time to resurrect the unrighteous dead so that all may know and admit that God is Right and Just.
• The Bible teaches that this Third Coming is also when the Holy City, New Jerusalem, will descend to the earth with all of the righteous inside of it.
• The Bible teaches that when the unrighteous and satan and his angels try to capture the Holy City, that Fire from Heaven will rain down upon them and create the Lake of Fire to destroy them all and burn them to ashes.
• The Bible teaches that then the earth, itself, will be destroyed by the Lake of Fire and that the righteous will watch from within the Holy City as God re-creates the Earth Made New.
• The Bible teaches that God will move the Seat of His Kingdom to the Earth Made New within the Holy City of the New Jerusalem where there will be no night because of the Brightness of the Presence of God Forever.

Honestly, I was raised an atheist. I had spiritual experiences in high school and college so I decided to study World Religions in College. None of them satisfied my intellect completely. Then I studied the Unification Priciple of Rev. Moon. It is not a religion, but a clarification of so-called religious terms. What you do with it is up to you. If you want to know the heart of God, how and why evil entered the world, and how to go beyond it, then I suggest you study this.

Jesus Christ, is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. This is a proven fact. The bible is our history book, manual, and blue print. Read it, meditate on the words and feel God's power. Then you will know where the truth lies.

Because my religion is based on my understanding of truth. Thus I could not aspouse it as a belief if it were not a truth to me. As for what truth, devine love, grace, and guidance.

The Holy Spirit of God lives within every true believer and follower of Jesus Christ who has been called by God in this "evil age" to faithfully serve him. God invites us into a father-child relationship with Himself and gives us His Spirit so we can become His children: ". . . But you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, 'Abba, Father.' The Spirit [itself] bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ . . ." (Romans 8:15-17).

We know beyond any doubt the Truth of the one and only living God in heaven. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The difference between those who are the true saints of God and those who profess the truth of another "false Deity", is that the true saints of God, through God's Holy Spirit, know for a fact the purpose of God's plan for mankind and the part we have as God's children in the family of God. All the others who profess the truth of a "false Deity" have been spiritually influenced and deceived by a very powerful super angel - Satan, the father of lies "who deceives the whole world"...........http://www.ucg.org/booklets/GK/

Hinduism has all the knowledge I need (material as well as spiritual). It also invites people to consider the teachings and analyze them instead of saying "this is the truth because it's written this way or because so and so has said it".
And really, they make sense if you have an open mind and have some intellectual capacity!
