I am interested in knowing if anyone is named after a continent, country, city, or place?

In India it is common to name individuals as that of a place or city etc. For example India is known as Bharath and we have a lot of Bharaths. Same way - Madurai is a famous city in Tamil Nadu with Meenakshmi Temple. U have people with name Madurai. U know in India sometimes roads, blocks, cities are named after famous individuals.

I was named for the plantation in Gone With the Wind: Tara.

I also know children named London, Indiana, and Savannah.
