i have no idea what brand it is but it is dragging a little when i open or close it like its scraping something

Oil it and the more you open it the more you break it in. With time it will open smoother......

Generally there is a screw or small bolt in the handle where the blade pivots. Slightly loosen this screw and apply either graphite or oil. Try it several times because you need some tension on the pivot point or you may have the knife opening unintentionally in your pocket which can have some serious consequences.
