Is there anything in particular you can tell me about replacing head gaskets on a '93 nissan truck? Any tips or tricks, I can't find it on my repair manual and so am trying to "wing it" please HELP

V-6 or 4 Cyl? then I have to ask what lead up to the diagnosis for head gasket? Over heated engines can smoke after Cyl head gasket replacment. Timing chain is not a WING IT item it has to be exactly right. Four tightening torque steps are not a WING IT those 3 10mm bolts hidden inside the timing cover and two hidden outside have to be removed too. Single cam 12 valve KA24E engines I reccomend a real Nissan Service manual Call your dealership they will give you a phone number to send off for a REAL service manual. good luck
