I have 2 female rats in a 29 gallon tank and getting a huge cage tomorrow for 112.99$ and would it be cheaper or nicer to make one? the one I might be getting has 2 floors and 2 ramps and is super high. And if you made one will you show me some pics of it or the web page you got that idea from so I may have instructions on it or will a store bought one be nicer?

Maybe there's a link here that'll help you. http://www.geocities.com/ratsonthehill/cagecrafts.html

I'm saving it myself, see if there's anything I could do.

If you have access to an old dresser it wouldn't be too difficult to make one.. and is fairly cheap..
one sec and i'll give you a link

The only real warning I have is to be careful what paint you use.. I would look for the stuff they sell for painting childrens rooms.. (it's made to be VERY safe)
