I'm sure he's been bit several times. Any person who is dealing with dogs who exhibit aggressive behaviors is going to get bit at some point in time and potentially is going to receive a serious bite as well.

I would say yes, several times. In his line of work, like vets and groomers, have an excellent chance of getting bit.
