I think the chicken had strayed off from his flock in the first place . so the chicken crossed the road to get to the other side to return to his flock.

it couldnt hold back and so it wanted to reach out for the opposite sex ...to make out and just be together ,than standing by the road side alone ....hahaha its all chicken world ...lol
