well I have the same problem and I have lost a good job bc of not being ''normal". But I had to get medical care to help me, I couldnt stand myself anymore. I wanted to do the things I used to do. It took alot from me but I feel better and continue to get better everyday. I always was against meds but my Dr told me w therapy and the meds I shouldnt have to take them forever. They were just an extra boost on those days when I wasnt feeling ok to do my routine. When u get up and even walk or exercise lightly that started to naturally help. I still take my Celexa but I dont need my klonopin as often I take that now as needed. So just get some help they will tell u what works best and u chose what u like however what was hardest for me was the fact that caffine was my life and w anxiety u arent supposed to have it so yes I was very tired in the beginning but it got better. The more u fight to be ur old self the better off u'll b. I would say dont go in thinking the meds will make me ok bc then u may need them , u may need them but always remember u control some of the disorder not much but dont take the easy way out. Take as perscribed and yes they make u very tired but as u keep taking them u'll get better! So if u can get medical help I would say do so their also may be an underlying cause to y u feel this way and maybe by talking u may become better in ur fight for ur old self to come back! if u need support please dont hesitate to email me for any reason I am wher u are lil_nikki1365@yahoo.com

Your thinking is good. It will take inner force but also it will take one new friend and several social secrets learned to get you free again. The depression chemicals that you made wont disappear but will slowly be removed as the blood cleans the spinal fluid. You wont feel lazy when they are gone. To prevent making more depression chemicals you need to remove all false hopes for love and sex. Then you wont be sad. A new friend will be honest in her response and help you see you are doing fine. Depression is all about friends and family. Panic means this has been going on for a long time . It too will fade.

Get yourself in to new things ... play tennis, swim , do spinning.. exercises that will keep you with a high level of endorphins and you will be looking better... then will cause 3 reactions in your body..

Sleep good.. if you do not sleep enough hours you will get depress
Eat healthy.. if you eat a lot of sugar it will make you more sensitive and you will get mad easily like the kids.
If you look Good with a positive attitude, people will like to be around you .. and yourself-esteem will improve a lot.

Are you getting treatment? That's your first step.

Treat going out as you would any new healthy habit that you want to form. You just make yourself do it. Baby steps.

Have a garden or yard? Go out and rake. Or pick flowers.

Drive (or walk, if it's close) to the store. Go late in the evening to avoid the crowds. Buy something tasty or grab a magazine to treat yourself.

Go out to lunch with a friend. Or dinner. Or drinks. Go early or late and grab a walk afterwards.

Worrying is a bad habit, you need to overcome it like any other bad habit. Try to modify the factors under your control, that is the only thing you can do. From http://mshn.org/worry.html
