I'm not fat or ugly, you can trust me on that. I'm popular, but not a *****. I'm friendly, but a little shy. Guys from other towns like me, but the ones that go to my school and stuff don't. They call me and my friends prude and stuff. But, they still like my friends and would go out with them. Guys, why would you not like someone for no reason??

They might think you are stuck up, if they want to date you but cant stand you thats probably why, there are girls that i think are pretty but i hate them cuz they think they are too good for everyone else, try being nice and making conversation with people that make fun of you, try to show them that you are not stuck up and if you are friends with them they will see that

I am a shy guy but friendly. Girls like me loads even the ones from my workplace but i was never in a relationship. I would have asked the same question as you. I got the answer from my girlfriend who said 'If u do not ask, u do not get'. So come out of the shy shell, u will realize there is a whole world waiting out there for you. Guys are apprehensive to befriend shy people because shy folk tend to reveal less of themselves. Remember there is always a reason all along and maybe here it's your shyness.

The real answer here is that these guys actually like you and your friends.
This is an ego thing, they are trying to be big and impressive in front of their friends and so will do anything to be in the center of attention. It is a shame but a fact of lie. They have been around you all of your life so they feel more comfortable around you, and are really attracted to you, but they do not want their friends to know this, so they act out to deflect their affections.
I am sure that the guys from the other towns are also acting in the same way to the girls in their schools and towns.

It's also based on personality, behavior, and habits. The difference from a picture and real life is that a picture shows how someone looks, not how they act, sound, or other stuff. A girl can be hot, but a guy could be looking for a smart girl or wants a girl that doesn't always look down and stuff.

Some men can't see the Forrest from the trees. My guess is that you are so familiar and solid of a person that the guys who see you all the time take you fro granted. Someone from another town thinks you stand out because you are new, and they see what is so special.

I know you said guys only so go ahead an ignore my answer if you want but. Maybe one time one of those guys tried talking to you and you blew him off not on purpose maybe you were running late or busy or something and he took it the wrong way and went and told his friends and now they think you're stuck up. It happened to me before but eventually they got to know the real me and all was well.

Sexual preference is exactly that.
You are attracted to a person, not you are reasoned to be with a person.
In your school mates eyes, you may be perceived to unattainable.
Answer: Hang with girls with older brothers who go to your school. All you need is one date with a school mate to change any perception.

It might just be mob mentality.
Humans sometimes show herd tendencies.
Find the leader of the pack - convince them that your O.K. and see what happens.
