Yes, most kind of meats do, in my opinion. You know vegetarian are much less likely to get many kinds of cancers, as well as heart disease, diabetes, etc..

Well here's my experience. I went vegetarian in 1969 at the age of 16; in 1996 I went vegan. I ate organic, juiced fresh fruits and veg most days, exercised, have never smoked in my life. Have certainly never eaten a Mcdonalds, Burger King, or Wendy's product in my life.

In 2003 I was diagnosed with grade 3 stage 3 cancer.

So avoiding red meat (as well as all others) didn't stop me getting cancer, didn't cure me and I'm not relying on it to prevent a recurrence or metastasis.

I think it's probably partly that. I bet it also has to do with the percentage of meat that is treated with antibiotics and hormones. Not only do we eat too much meat in general, the vast majority is totally and completely different from the way it used to be.

I agree that it's an important contributing factor for sure. All the hormones and antibiotics that the animals get can't possibly help matters either.

No, but I do think the chemicals and hormones the ranchers and farmers are feeding our meat before slaughter do.

not the meat itself but the way all of our food is highly processed and has so many additives.
