She won't go to jail for owing the cash advance places, but could go to jail for writing the bad checks.

Depending on where she lives, the bad checks can land her in jail. If they are turned over to the district attorney, and are above a certain amount, a warrant will be issued for her arrest.
She needs to contact telecheck and pay them as soon as possible.
This will later affect her ability to get bank accounts (checking and savings). The debts to the cash advance places will negatively affect her credit score.

She won't go to jail, but she has to pay her debt and her overdraft. Writing the bad checks could be considered fraud but unless they were large they won't file criminal charges. If she doesn't pay them the money she took that wasn't hers they will report her to check systems so she will have trouble getting bank accounts.
She needs to figure out how she is going to pay them. She should have known how she was going to pay her debts before she created them.
I hope she is young so she has time to recover before she has responsibilities like a house and family and retirement to save for. If she is under 22 she can still go on to have a decent life if she learns from this.
Making a bad mistake young sometimes is a good thing if it is learned from. Don't loan her money so she has a chance to benefit from this.
If you must do something buy her a personal finance book as a gift. David Ramsey is good for people who have debt.
