that sounds bad. It could be the parvo virus. Don't get your hopes up.

It is probably an upper respiratory infection and perhaps due to dryness (heat in the house) and repetitive sneezing it is raw and bleeding. These infections are easily treated with medication. The vet will help your kitty and if you give the medicine as requested by the vet it will go away. Pill Pockets make giving the pills easy. Good Luck.

Also, don't worry about Parvo as cats don't get parvo-virus. What your cat is experiencing should be treated easily, just take it to the vet as soon as you can.

Here in Ohio, most vets are closed on Sundays, but animal hospitals are open. The one closest to me has an ordinary vet for common sorts of problems, as well as specialists on duty at all times. I'd say that there was something bad wrong if your kitten is sneezing up blood, so getting him to any vet's office is a good idea.

The best answer I can give is that my first little of foster kittens had a cold (your cat might have it, although my kittens seem to sneeze more than cough), and their noses would bleed because of the dry air in the room and them drying their noses out from sniffling, and I did actually find some blood droplets on my bed once! But it certainly sounds like something you can't cure at home, so take him to the vet.

It sounds like he could have something IN his nose, that's been irritating it. Now that he's coughing up blood, it's even more important to get him to a vet. Most cities have "emergency clinics", that are open when the regular vet offices are closed. Look in your phone book, under veterinarians/hosp, and you should be able to find one. Sometimes they're called 24 hr hospitals, and they're ONLY open when the vet offices are closed. Good luck and PLEASE get your baby to a doctor ASAP.

A vet is the answer. You cat has a respiratory infection which could be caused by several things, most of which are not good.
