I’ve known her by just saying hi in the hallways at school now for about 3 months. I started talking to her on facebook (simple little messages) about a week ago and in the past 3 days every night for about 3 hours we have talked on instant messenging. before nothing was happening now i don’t know what to call our relationship, i need to know if she is into me because i would actually like to date her. oh yeah were both 16

If she is spending 3 hours on instant messaging with you she's wanting to get to know you and is interested. Ask her out on a date.

It's kind of hard to tell at this point. She could be "on the rebound" and just looking for someone to talk to. Then again, she might be into you. Just approach this with caution. Drop hints that you like her. If she hints back, chances are good that she's into you. If not, try to be satisfied with being "just friends" until your chance comes.
