i want to get rid of it as fast as possible w/ spending as little as possible
also is there anything wrong w/ drinking coffee as a warm drink?

gargle with salt water, take aleve or advil, try to keep your ears and throat warm..... cover up with a warm comforter... dont forget your feet honey!! suck on hard candies or lozenges to keep your throat moist, the dryer it is, the more it hurts.... you can eat a popsicle or freezie pop too to ease the pain.... i forgot hot tea and chicken soup of course

You should not drink coffee as the ingrediants in a lot of blends can make it worse. Green tea is a great soother for the discomfort. Over the counter sprays are also a great short term releaver that numb the area and sooth.

I would gargle with salt water. I wouldn't drink coffee. You might try black tea with honey, or green tea for your hot beverage until you feel better. You can still have the caffeine that way...(I'm a coffee drinker too, so I understand!)

Hot water add ordinary salt, wait for the salt to dissolve and the water to cool to warm and gargle three times a day. Good Luck

salt water is definatly the way to go. Try it 5 times in a row and you can feel relief instantly.
