If I was downloading afile using adownloading program and I unpluged my computer..and opened it again can I continue downloading or I should start from the beginning?

I'm using "free download manager "program.

Most programs save the process it was at say 32% ( iono pulling something random out of me head) if you open up the download software there should be a feature that says continue or resume, something like that.

If a power failure occurs then the download was corrupted. This is to say that no tag was place at the end of the partial download so the download program doesn't know where to resume the partial download. Delete your partial and start over.

Most of the downloading programs on the market, allow you to finish the download where you left off. Being that you don't say which download program you are using, I am unable to tell if if the programs will finish the download where you left off, or you must restart the download all over again.
