Younger kids do it because they think it is cool. Older people I guess it just became a habit and sometimes don't even realize how often they swear. I find people who use curse words many times in every sentence just show a total lack of class.

People use curse words because they lack an adequate vocabulary to express themselves.

Because they are uneducated and uncouth and some because they think it's cool to be so sloppy. Hip hop and rap haven't helped. When music makes it cool, it's hard to combat.

Youth of today use it in every day conversation. They think it gets their "point across". Really it makes them look uneducated and ignorant. It shows a lack of manners and self-respect.

with todays pop culture with rap and other things downgrading society, language, and proper edict it will continue to progressively get worse

because they are of limited intelligence, having small minds, and no respect or manners.... they can't think of something intelligent to say, so they curse...
