Study them all. There is truth in all religions. Be believing. Apply what you learn, and see how much it benefits you. Be like a child... a child simply believes and does not put up barriers of disbelief. In doing this, your heart will begin to see what is true and what is not, and you will naturally gravitate towards truth, rejecting nothing, but always embracing more and more truth. Always keep an open mind.
Keep a journal. Ponder at length upon everything you learn and experience, and work it out in your own mind, listening to the good feelings of your heart in the process.
As Yoda said, "Fear is the path to the dark side." So if you want to find the truth (ie greater spirituality) do the opposite. Go fearlessly. Trust God. Follow the spiritual feelings that occur in your heart. Some things are just "so right." Truth feels like "coming home."

First keep on reading. Buddha is not a god. Buddhismus is an art of spritual meditation.
Then, the belief in a single God is what it says, an expression of faith in a creator of our being. This understanding and acceptance has to come from yourself and you can only ask for guidance through and by religious thinkers, past and present.

We should believe only in 'Truth'. And the truth is that we all are souls within our bodies. We care 24 hours about our body needs. Seldom do we come face to face with our real selves. That happens often when some one from our kith and kin dies. During those moments we consider our bodies a waste, to perish one day. If we can have that feeling and consideration perpetual, we are face to face with our own selves.
That is the essence of the religion. We can easily believe in that.

it is quite simple, the true religion will last till the end of time provided that you dont need to modify its scriptures in order to fit the time like past present or future. However a religion that is true or god the revelation that he sent should not have any mistakes and if you analyze all religions they have mistakes except one and that one is the true religion and if you open yourself to it, no one in this world can prove that, that religion is wrong.

Read the Answer I gave a week ago for Atheists who don't believe on God. All what I wrote about this planets and what God made in it to support life on this planet long before Jesus was born. That means Jesus is not God and Jesus didn't make this world. They say Jesus died for sins of all Christians, then who is managing this world without God?
It is God who made it and it is Him who maintains Him. God is eternal. He alays was and will never die. He is not born to any one nor any one is born from God. He never need sleep and knows every second about every one and what is happening every where. Nothing is unknown to God, not even our thoughts in our minds.
This article should give you some foood for thought.

A complete answer to this would require a book (I am writing one), but the short answer is one word: evidence. You can believe in anything for which there is evidence; it is a waste of time to believe in anything for which there is not. Since there is no evidence for the existence of any sort of god (and a fair amount that there is no such thing), there is no reason to believe in such a thing. For more on this, see:

Erm, on the whole it's been well researched, peer reviewed, and is held by the majority of academia the world over to be correct.
