atheism is not a religion it is a world view they have no holy book because they believe nothing is holy. the only requirement to be an atheist is that they don't believe in a god.

there are atheistic religions though, Buddhism is an example Buddhists follow the teachings of Buddha, who is not a god but a man who achieved enlightenment or nirvana.

Atheism is a belief. Simply put, it is the opposite of theism, the denial of God.
