have put creams on it but still have it.what could it be.

You don't precisely locate the pain for us. Also, no indication of age. If it is in the calf, may want to rule out phlebitis. If in the front, could be the result of a bump causing some swelling beneath the covering of the bone.

if this pain continues then, make your way to your GP. Best to check this out,probably nothing dramatic, but you may have damaged some small, part of the Knee.

Probably shin splint if you ahve been exercising!
