I need help finding a substitute for gelatin that I can find around my house. HELP! 'Cause I don't have any gelatin to make marshmallows. Thanks. Love ya'll ;)

you can try pectin, but if you don't have gelatin in your house, i seriously doubt you just happen to have pectin on hand. if you were making something involving fruit the pectin might work........not so sure about marshmallows. bail........just go to the store.

Try 'agar agar'. You 'll find it in a Chinese or Indian shop.
Or
if the recipe called for 1 tbsp of gelatin, use 2 tbsp pectin.

agar agar,its an asian gelatine(vego's use it)
