Get some Triple Antibiotic Ointment, Fungal Ointment, and Benadryl Pills! Depending on the size of the dog, give him a Benadryl pill, and rub a small amount of both ointments, where the rash is! Watch to make sure he doesn't lick the ointment off! Do this a couple times a day, He should be better in no time! After a few days, if you see no improvement, call the vet. and ask what they would recommend!! Good Luck, I hope this helps some!!!

It really depends on what is causing the rash. If it's allergies, then a cream/ointment containing hydrocortisone can help to relieve the itching and discomfort.

If it's caused by a skin infection or something else it will need anti-biotics and you really need to consult a veterinarian so that you can get the medication you need.

You can find out more about dog skin allergies here http://www.the-puppy-dog-place.com/canine-skin-allergies.html

If you're in any doubt about the cause, or if the skins seems hot, swollen or inflamed you definitely need a veterinarian's opinion. Best of luck. Hope he's feeling better soon.

you have to know what the rash is caused by to really get the right ointment, but you can try hydrocortosone ointment and watch for signs of licking ,scratching,so you can try to figure out what caused the rash.

My dog had a rash on his belly for the longest time, I found out he was allergic to beef and wheat products, so you might want to look into food allergies.

Do you know what the rash is from? Is it bacterial, is it fungal, is it allergic? You need a diagnosis from the vet for the best answer to this question.
