By the soundz of it you should jog this guy on for wooing your pals, and having the cheek to tell his mates about your personal time together, he is mearly a little boy, your 17 and a young adult and he sounds like he is pretty immature to be doing that.
You may have lost your V to him but come on now how many people do you know who stay with their first because they are infact their first?
There are so many more "fish in the sea" that could treat you better than he could and wouldnt you be so p*ssed if you put up with that and around the corner their is a guy who would treat you like a princess and respect you and your relationship ?
