ive been overwhelmed,,,ive been underwhelmed,,,,how will i now when im just whelmed???

I think you already do know. If not, then you need to think about what was going on when you were UNDERwhelmed. Were you bored? Maybe you were looking forward to something coming up? A lot of teens think they can hardly wait until they go away to college. Thinking something super-special is going to happen when they are away from home. What is going on while they wait doesn't interest or excite them......they feel UNDERwhelmed. Then do the same thing and think about what's going on when you're OVERwhelmed.

I would bet that almost everyone would say they are either OVER or UNDERwhelmed-----all the time. So many people live on the "high" of extreme emotions. Think about it.....how many people do you really think would admit that they are "whelmed"? What is it that you think you need to be "whelmed"? Have you ever thought about that before? Maybe you've you've actually received/gotten what you thought you need to become "whelmed".....and once you got there......you still weren't happy? That happens to a lot of people.

Too much Flintstones: Fred Flintstone and Whelmeder. Serioulsly though, the to do is identify when you feel overwhelmed, and take regular breaks from what you do. Also, prioritise work by dealing with the most important tasks first, but ensure that less important ones don't get neglected to the point of becoming urgent.

And, take time to relax.

It's possible for you to have manic depression. Go see your doctor. There are a lot of good medications out there that can make you just whelmed.
