if you are one that eats when bored then you need to not be so boring. keep yourself active to not only increase your daily level of activity but to keep yourself from sitting around and eating. people today have forgotten that humans are animals and no animal is designed to be sedentary. there is nothing healthy about living a sedentary lifestyle, it goes against the basic functions of human biology.

You need to eat more than an apple a day! Otherwise you will be thinking about food every time your stomach rumbles! Just stick to your three meals a day, but keep your portions down. If you feel hungry in between meals, eat a piece of fruit, or a handful of raisins or something. I know it's easier said than done, I have the same problem, when I'm bored I reach for food as it's something to do. If you're worried that you'll be thinking about food, keep yourself busy, find something to do, clean the house, go for a walk, join an exercise class, anything that will keep you occupied and your mind off food!

Drinking lots of water between meals can make you feel fuller and is very good for you. Also, do something to take your mind off food, such as having a sort out of your things of going for a walk.

kayy, whoa.
ONE apple a day or ONE piece of lettuce a day is NOT eating well.
diet drinks are not good either.
lots of water IS good,
along with fruits and veggies.
not too much junk food and portion control is also very easy way to eat better.

eating tha miniscule amount of food isn't healthy. and unless you drive yourself to the point of anorexia, you WILL give into hunger eventually.
if you want to control what you eat, eat smaller meals more often. i made myself eat 5 smaller meals a day, rather than 3 large ones. when i did this, i dropped the 20 xtra lbs i was carrying easily. drink more water more often; it will fill you up. brush your teeth after a meal; it will help your brain recognize that mealtime is over.
whatever you do, please do not try crash dieting and diet pills. they dont work for the long term, and you dont want an eating disorder. they aren't fun.

Get Addicted to Computer Games or others like PS3 or xbox or Wii or whatever...
When I got SIms for the first time, my whole family sat in front of the computer for 24 hours straight (and we ate only once).
Seriously, get out of the house and walk or jog or exercise at a gym, cant eat while you are walking, jogging or exercising.
Stay away from places, things, people who make you want to eat.
Good luck!

do alot of other things. another thing that may help is depending on what thing makes you think about food, such as smell, or seeing food, and blocking out images on your TV, or holding your nose when you go past a place or an area that has the smell of food. Besides, if you eat alot when you think of food, and you are starting to get 'curvy', love your new shape and don't worry about it!

Well, do you want to LOSE weight? Because It sounds like it. Try nuetrosystem. It works. My friend tried it, and it works very well! Unless you DON'T want to lose weight, eat! EAT, EAT, EAT, EAT! Enjoy life!! As for distracting your mind off of food, you could watch t.v. shows that you really like, movies, reading books, etc. If you go to sleep and wake up it usually helps....unusually..... :] Hope I helped!

Get busy!
Diet drinks aren't going to help you at all. You need to be eating more fruits and veggies and exercising if you want to be healthy. Your current lifestyle isn't going to help you at ALL.
