We are going out of town to see relatives, and we will be gone for a week. Right now, my husband and i are in the process of getting our twins to sleep in a real bed, but they still get out of the bed at night and i dont want to deal with this while we are there. Is it ok for them to sleep in playpens just for that week??? If not do u have any suggestions of what i could do??? Thank You

sure ... you do what you need to when you're away! but i can tell you we just tried the same thing with our almost-2-year-old, and he climbed right out of the playpen (oops), so ended up sleeping in a bed...

you could bring a safety gate to put on the door where they're sleeping if you're worried about them wandering around. or get one of those blow-up air mattresses for the floor if you're worried about them falling out of the bed. and of course babyproof where they're sleeping as well as possible.

Check the height and weight restrictions on the playpen. As long as they're within the range to use it, there's no problem.

I had a play pen at my parents house so that when my daughter spent the night there she had somewhere to safely sleep. She slept in it until she was about a year and a half.

i think you could do it the only thing is they might get upset thinking they are in a crib again.....trust me that is a struggle.

Depending on their age, I don't see anything wrong with it.
