Myself, I do not support abortions after 22 weeks. This coincides with the development of the neo-cortex of the brain. Without this, no fetus could suffer in any meaningful sense, nor even care if it was aborted.

No Deuce, I'm saying that because God does it so frequently and says nothing against it in the Bible, he must not have a problem with it.

rukiddin... actually, the vast majority of abortions are performed in the 1st trimester, long before viability at around 26 weeks.

Miscarriages are not due to God standing with a pointer and saying, 'This one dies, that one dies, this one over here goes,' and so on.
If that were the case He is the one causing all the abortions as well.
Miscarriage exists because sin in the world causes our bodies which were originally intended to be perfect to be less and less perfect the further away from Creation we get.

The difference between a miscarriage and an abortion is a miscarriage occurs when the fetus is not viable. Abortions are usually performed on fetuses that are viable. I doubt that a fetus who's heart is beating at 6 weeks would not suffer, regardless of the science behind. That said, I am pro-choice, not pro-abortion, since I believe it is mine and my husband's decision to do what is best for our family and not anyone else's.

Why punish an innocent unborn child for the parents' mistakes?
Miscarriages are natural. Abortions aren't. If a child dies due to a miscarriage, then it wasn't meant to be. Perhaps the child was to be born with a fatal disease. However, an abortion is selfish. There are always wonderful families that would do anything for a child, and that is the beauty of adoption.

Miscarriage and abortions are different
One is a natural occurence due to no intervention from the mother= miscarriage.
Abortion is the selected intervention to terminate a viable fetus= murder

NO God doesn't and where did you get your information I do not beleive you are accurate in your percentage. I believe abortion is wrong and if you do not want to have a baby use protection or don't have sex.

in some way that makes sense. women dont need a reason to do what they do. the world works in mysterious ways. most women will feel bad...but they have their reasons...as for this god thing..it would seem so, but who is to say

And..I never understood why people ask questions to mere mortals when they should address these to God in the first place? "Peace!"

In effect, you're saying that because people die, we should be allowed to murder?
