The friend thing a tough one. Having to accept that the person you have romantic feelings for doesn't feel the same is a lonely place to be. If shes the person you spend the majority of your free time with, getting over her wont be easy. Try giving giving your self some time away from her, but don't just sit at home. Go out of town for the weekend, or look into local volunteer its a great way to meet other people.

No need to apologize for ur writing, this is a freestyle type of site and manny people here that dont have nothing to do criticize all day long.
First of all you are normal, for some reason we have a natural tendency to want love and when it does not happen as expected we get wounded. What's not normal is when we bask in our pain. Your job now is to work on you. Start reading books, start taking your self out to dinner and lunch, you will start looking at your self differently.
In other words start investing in your self, that way the next go round you will not give all of you away, you would have learn to save a piece of you in case thing do not work out. Love is a lesson and until you truly love you, the person you truly want will not show up
hope this helps.

Depending on what kind of a person you are, you could go one of 2 ways....
You could go on a bender and just rebound like crazy, or alternatively, you can be patient. Getting over someone is never easy, and sometimes the thing to do is just take it one day at a time, and one day you will wake up and it wont hurt too bad. When you get to that point, you will be ready to move on.
You could also find a hobby, join a group, club, etc, so you can meet new people, and so you don't spend all your time dwelling on her.

Keep busy, don't talk to her and stay away. You can't get over someone if you spend time with them. Ask other friends if they can set you up with someone else. Go out to bars and try to meet other girls, that will be the quickest way to get over someone.
