NATO will move (I hope) and that would be the end of it. Russia is not the power everyone thinks they are. Their military technology is 20+ years behind NATO and their soldiers are not highly trained and disciplined like NATO. The Russian industrial base could not supply their war effort for very long. The Russians are involved in their own conflicts like the Russian state of Georgia. The Russians have survived this long with the ports they have so why would they need to attack Turkey.

If they did and no one stop them and they occupied Turkey which they could i see a repeat of USSR invason of Afganistan in the 1980's and the US invasion of Iraq of 2003 Muslims jihadist would fight back strongly unless Russia was absoluetly ruthless to the population then maybe
but that is a lot of "ifs"

Russia doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving so they do not have the need to take over Turkey

I wouldn't have to worry about it for another year. Turkey day has already passed. I would imagine the price of turkeys would go up, since russia would have taken them over. :) lol

Well, they'd also have to take over Armenia and Georgia, otherwise they couldn't really get to Turkey. And if they took over these three nations, they'd be very unpopular and probably have three more wars to fight.

NATO is obligated to engage in that case. Not gonna happen, not prudent for Russia.
