I have a CA temporary disability form approved by my doctor. However, I can't drive to the DMV.?

Can someone else get the placard for me?

As long as the form is signed, anyone can pick up your placard!

Anyone with identification can pick the form up for you, with your permission. You can also complete this transaction by mail, turnaround time is generally quick, especially on a temporary placard.

ANYONE CAN BUT I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU HAVE A SIGNED DOCUMENT THAT STATES WHO IS DOING THIS FOR YOU SO THAT IT WILL BE EASIER FOR THE OTHER PERSON.
