Canada has more lenient rules on immigration involving those who wanted to work.

Only a British citizen who tried it in both countries would know for sure, but Canada is a part of the British Commonwealth, as you know.

That must count for something. There are several variables.

Naturally, if the job you were able to do was in short supply in both countries, it probably would be a tie as to difficulty.

For example, if both countries needed more nurses, and you were a nurse, then it would just be a matter of how long it took to receive an approval of the visa application.

If you wanted a work visa in an occupation for which the unemployment rate was high, you might not survive the labor certification procedure in the U.S.

If you had a special skill that is in short supply, companies in either country can try to file papers for your visa.

I live in US and i imagine it is easier but you should go with Canada irregardless. I think that america is goin down the
sh!tter. I'm thinkin of moving to Canada.
