Unfortunately, you have to get the doors open to flip the child safety lever to disable that feature. Only way is to remove the back seat cushion and remove the door trim panels to access the lock mechanism or child safety lever so you can get the doors open. Have done this a few times and it's not easy...best to let a garage, body shop or dealer do it. Most times, the little child safety lever is stuck in between lock and unlock position to cause this problem.

This is a tricky one.
There is not a fuse for this. Find the manual which is in the glove compartment there should be something there. Use your key to try and unlock the door, then look in the door frame up by the window in the frame of the door and there should be a switch, up & down, or left to right. this will turn off the lock for this door, and you will have the same thing on the other door.

if you cant open the door at all then you cant turn off the child safety lock,,the switch is near the door latch can be seen when the door is open,,,even if the child lock is on, your door should open with the outside handle,,,
even if you didn't mention what car you have ,,,there is a possibility that the small spring in the door latch assy.. fell off
or broken,,,
some cars you could remove the panel with out breaking it
even if the door is close,,to access the door latch,,

can you open from outside and not from inside? then there's a circular switch on the side of the door when you open it from outside and turn it off child lock.

I would just go down to your local car dealership if that car dealership is in town. Say... I was wondering if your car mechanics can help me out.
