Instead of him putting it on, why don't you? Any woman I have ever been with has always put the condom on me and in very erotic ways. The issue was how the condom might increase performance anxiety. The condom cannot prevent you from feeling the intensity of french nails running up and down your shaft and checking out your crown jewels.
As a side note: ED can be caused by a host of things from certain medications to diabetes. ED is a chemical issue that impacts the brain which is the largest sex organ in the body. If he indeed has this, it is for his MD to determine and the MD will prescribe whatever drug he wants (there are a number on the market) to address the issue. Its probably because the condom make sit not feel the same way as it would if he wasn't wearing one.. so if theres not a lot of sensation then it makes sense it would go down more... Also is your bf in good shape and eats well? if he isn't that can contribute to this too... or perhaps hes aware of it going down which makes him worried more when you are about to do it, so if his mind is busy worrying then he wont be able to keep it up either... just don't make him feel worse about it and try make him relaxed more :)
