There r as many religions as many people. There is strictly no Christian, no Islami Muslim, no Hindu or Buddhist. But we all have some faith in something we really believe. So I say all have own tailored religion in which we truly believe. So why so much of hype about religion when we r truly not following any religion. Those who call themselves true Islamic r in fact fanatics. Such people r found in every religion who exploit religious fervor for their own mean goals. So where do we stand with respect to religion, society and humanity at large. I think worst suferer at the hands of so called religious persons has been humanity. All religions proclaim humanity but this is what missing everywhere ? We r badly divided in the name of race, religion and nationality.

That's really very interesting. Most people don't really follow the religion they claim to believe in - that's why non-religious people see so much hypocrisy in religion. Very few people of ANY religion actually walk-the-walk.

I respect (not always agree with) those who do what their religion actually calls for. Two such people (IMO) are Billy Graham and Osama Bin Laden. I think that they both carry out what their religions say that they should do.

A pet peeve of mine has always been how Christians (BTW, I am Christian) are the biggest consumers of Sunday restaurant meals. To me, this goes against the commandment to keep the Sabbath day holy. We claim to want everyone to worship God on Sunday (I don't do real estate sales on Sundays), but we AS A HUGE BLOCK spend all our "restaurant dollars" ONLY at restaurants that are open on Sunday! I think that instead, we should all agree to ONLY spend our restaurant dollars at restaurants that are closed on Sundays.

I would hate it if all Christians stood as a block and said that they would only buy a house from a Realtor who works on Sunday instead of worshiping God.......

What do you see when you close your eyes? And what about when you open them? How dramatic is the difference? We are entitled to our fantasies. Indeed, we really ought to see them as essential to our well-being. What's the point of a life without dreams? It's true too, that some dreams are best left unfulfilled. They are more enjoyable in the imagination than they would ever be in reality. Yet every so often, we have to get a little of what we want, if only to maintain the tantalising illusion that the rest might just be attainable.

I eat whatever food comes my way...
And I can swim wherever I wish to go.
Opportunistic, you say? Hey, that's America... the capitalist capital of the world!

Every church I've ever visited does this...except for the part about going where they wish.
There are many Christian people that act land think like Muslims, and vice-versa. It's all mixed-up, and it's getting worse. Who knows, maybe that's a good thing.
